How to Meet People

First FreeWill Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old  child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at First Free Will Baptist Church.

At Visalia First Church one of our top priorities is to help you connect with other Christians and find your best friends. One of the ways we provide this opportunity is through our different Church Ministries. Church Ministries are common-interest ministries or groups that range from Bible Studies to Sunday School to Old-Fashioned Fellowships to Men & Women Groups. Thesegroups meet at various times throughout the week and can occur weekly, biweekly, monthly or just every so often.

We believe that church doesn’t really start until after the service is over. A true church is more than a weekly service—it is a community of people living in close fellowship: mourning and rejoicing, supporting and interceding, sharpening and  challenging, growing and pushing each other closer to God. We like to call this “doing life together.”

As you check out the different Church Ministries at Visalia First Church, note some that sound appealing to you, and check them out. Most of the ministries don’t require a long-term commitment, so you are free to visit different groups until you find one that fits. Our leaders are always eager to help connect you with the right group for you.
